National Missions: CCM has raised over $30,000 for MetroMinistries. Many CCM partners are now sponsoring children from all over New York City and it's suburbs. Two mission teams have been sent to New York to assist Pastor Bill Wilson and Metro Ministries as they ministered to their church of over 22,000 inner city children. ·Battle Creek- Washington Heights youth transport to children’s and youth programs ·Battle Creek- Financial support and work projects for Inasmuch House, Safe Place & Sexual Assault Services ·Albion- Lincolnshire and Broadwell, Dalrymple, youth transport to children’s and youth programs ·Albion- King Lion children’s program ·Marshall- 700 seat auditorium given to support community events ·Calhoun County- Bread of Life Food Pantry (Crossroads Church is Calhoun County’s 4th largest food pantry) ·Calhoun County- Financial Support of the Fountain Clinic ·Calhoun County- Marriage Seminars where some of the speakers have included nationally know author/speakers such a Dr. Les Parrot and Dr. Sharon Morris May
·Calhoun County- Abuse prevention and detection training for Leaders and Sunday school teachers with Terry Young, State of Michigan Crime Victim's Rights Training Coordinator
·Calhoun County- Men’s and Women’s training seminars,
empowering people to become all they were meant to be ·Calhoun County- Support group programs including Celebrate Recovery, Alcoholics Anonymous, Grief Recovery, Men’s, Women’s and Youth groups
·Calhoun County- Spiritual Retreats·Calhoun County- Financial seminars ·Calhoun County- Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Direction, Professional Counseling and
Professional Life Coaching ·Calhoun County- Leadership training with notable Christian leaders including
Dr. David Loveless (discoverychurch.org) and Bill Wilson(metroministries.org) ·Calhoun County- Youth mentoring and training in life skills and career planning,
·Calhoun County- Academic scholarshipsCollege visits and scholarship research ·Calhoun County- Financial support to local athletic programs ·Calhoun County- Jail Ministry ·Calhoun County- Sponsoring children in Battle Creek and Albion for Christmas All of the above services are free and/or have scholarships or sliding scale fees available. |
